Dressing for Outdoor Adventures
At Wild Roots, we explore nature in all kinds of weather! Proper gear keeps kids comfortable, safe, and ready for adventure. Below, you'll find tips for dressing in different seasons, plus essentials for every outing.
The Basics: Dressing for Success
Layers are key! Dressing in layers helps regulate body temperature and keeps kids comfortable.
Choose the right fabrics. Wool and synthetic materials are best for staying warm and dry-avoid cotton in cold or wet weather.
Footwear matters. Waterproof boots for muddy days, sturdy shoes for hikes and insulated boots for winter adventures make all the difference.
